LOOL does anyone else think this is annoying?

am i the only one who thinks its annoying when your in a department store looking at the makeup counters and as SOON as you go over the person there always comes up to you and is like'how are you, do you want a tester, what are you looking for, let me help you, come here, do you want this for free, would you be interested in gettin 10% off!' etc and keep heling you, when all your doing is looking LOL? (and i know they have to cos its their job) but it just makes you feel awkward and then you walk off. dont you think they should leave you in peace to have a look and come over if you ask them too? LOL i know this is random but im just bored and wanted to know what people thought :)
