If someone is slandering your good name?

Someone on the internet is slandering my good name just because i wont pull down someone they hate .They are telling everyone i am a puppy Farmer and i have only had 2 litters to try get a show dog and that is over 3 years.Can people put slanderous things on their own website and get away with it.I love my dogs and they are in the house with me,i help all the rescues collecting blankets and doing home checks so this is really making me look bad when i am a nice person.
